Sean Payton: Jabari Greer suffered “significant injury”

It doesn’t sound like the Saints expect to have cornerback Jabari Greer back on the field any time soon.
Greer was carted off the field during Sunday’s victory over the 49ers and coach Sean Payton’s update on his condition on Monday was not an optimistic one. Payton said, via WWL-TV, that he’d have more information about Greer’s injury on Tuesday, but called it “significant” and said that Greer was doing “as well as you could expect” in terms of dealing with the injury.
