Brees vs Kaepernick in the 4th quarter

Brees
10-14, 144 yds, 104.4 QB Rating

Kaepernick
2-7, 15 yds, 39.6 QB Rating

Brees threw for 144 yds in just 12 minutes of play. That equates to 720 yds passing for an entire game.

This. Maybe Harbaugh can focus his attention here.

The 49ers offense is averaging less than 175 yards over the past 2 games.

Yet Harbaugh keeps saying Kaepernick is playing great.

Of course he is the one who threw away Alex Smith.

Drew has been called upon 4 times this season to supply the Saints with clutch game winning drives.

He has succeeded 3 times (Tampa, New England, San Francisco). On top of that he drove the Saints to a crucial FG late in the Atlanta game that gave us a 6 point lead and forced Atlanta to need a touchdown to win, which they failed to do.

The only failure was vs the Jets. And I'm still convinced had we not had that holding call on the successful first down throw to Stills, he would have driven us down for a 27-26 epic win.

Why? Do you think we should sign him?

I told many people in the offseason that the 49ers were stupid to get rid of Alex Smith, I even stated one time that they probably got rid of the wrong QB, mostly for the fact that Kaepernicks style of play is too much like Michael Vicks, once you figure it out, you beat him almost everytime, least Alex Smith could pass the ball.

I also said the same thing in Seattle to with Matt Flynn and Russel Wilson, that is still up in the air right now.

I think you are correct with the comparison to Vick. Fun to watch, but someone that is going to have a few too many "bad" plays that hurt your team and ultimately cost you a win.

Russell Wilson is a straight up winner, ever since his days at North Carolina State. That kid is special and will only get better. Matt Flynn is NOBODY. I take that back, he is the backup QB to a UDFA.

Not sure that I watched the same Saints-Patriots game as you, but the Saints didn't win the game against the patricheats that I saw.

Speaking only about the fact that he engineered a 4th quarter comeback successfully. Not the fact that we won, but I get your point.
