Raiders fans need the Saints help.
Quote:
Stage 1--we start slow and lose the opener. Stage 2--we light it up against a good team, bandwagoners rejoice. Stage 3--we choke to an inferior team, we argue for 1-3 weeks about how it is or isn\'t partly Brooks\' fault. Stage 4--we rip off 2 straight wins right before fans give up all hope of the playoffs. Stage 5--we play well until December. Stage 6--we have a train wreck on one game that we absolutely have to win to get a wild card berth. Stage 7--everyone is bitter until we start thinking about all the cool free agents that will fix our ailing D. Stage 8--we sign none of those cool free agents. Stage 9--everyone is bitter until we start thinking about all the cool players in the draft so we can fix our ailing D. Stage 10--we argue for months about how it was/wasn\'t the right thing to go get this year\'s version of Sully. Stage 11--Many predictions of 11-5 or better and heated arguments about the 3-4 guys who pick less than 10-6 as being Carolina fans or something. |

Looks like we skipped Stage 2 and went straight into Stage 3, BMG.

I think we still have a shot at the post-season....If we all rally around Brooks and pray..............

Why aren\'t we playing Henderson????????....Clayton for Tampa seems to be alright.............send the rookie in to get the vets amped....

Clayton is a much better WR. Henderson is still raw, and with the dropsies he supposedly had in training camp, I don\'t blame the coaches for keeping him on the sidelines. There are already two players on the team who are just as fast and more reliable - Stallworth and Lewis. Who do you take off the field to put Henderson on it? Pathon? Not likely. Maybe you play him for Lewis, but Lewis comes up clutch a whole lot when he\'s in as a wideout.
