... it was a lot easier in the '60s when you knew the Packers were gonna' steamroll everyone, or the '70s (Steelers), '80s (Whiners), '90s (Cowgirls) ... you know what I'm talkin' about, :rolleyes: ... too many teams in the league nowadays ... JMHO, :lol:.

Yeah, you're right and maybe there's not that much difference between 26 teams in the league and 32, but it doesn't seem like 'AGS' was as applicable back then as it is today ... seems like back then teams were able to stack their rosters with more talent and establish dynasties where in today's game, all you need are a few key positions to field a competitive team and nobody really dominates anymore.

Meh, I'm just pissed because I'm losing out on all the close picks this year, :lol:.

I do take a certain amount of solace in the fact that when my picks for the week are below average, we tend to be below average as a group ... it's those 'above average' weeks I'm having problems keeping up with, :mrgreen:

4-8-1 with MNF left to go ... I challenge anyone to beat that, :lol: ... 101-73-1 ... couldn't have picked this week any better if half the games had been forfeits, :rolleyes:. It's only fitting the Redskins win tonight and put me out of my misery.

8-6 for the week. I consider myself very lucky.
I don't know what my total is, and I'm too damn tired to find it. I've been camping with the Boy Scouts this week, and it just stopped raining...after 24 hours, with the temps in the 30's. We've camped in the cold rain, we've cooked for 400 people for 4 days, I've been fighting wet sleeping bags for 6 hours, I only hoy watch one game this weekend, the Saints, and I finally get to sit by a quiet fire, now that its almost midnight. I ain't looking up my total. :-)

Edit: Screwed up the tie. Put me down for 7-6-1. Sorry, it was late and I was wet and cold.
