Tony Gonzalez misses practice; Uncertain to play this week
 

It looks like the Atlanta Falcons will not know the status of tight end Tony Gonzalez this Thursday when they face the New Orleans Saints until right before the game is set to kick-off. He looked like a long-shot to play Sunday vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the future hall of famer was unable to practice at all last week, but manged to suit-up and start.

After missing practice Monday, he was once again unable to go today:

He will play. If he didn't they would have to forfeit at the count toss.

Either way, with the frailcons at a disappointing 2-8, he's got to be having a serious "short-timer's" attitude that will affect his game.

By the way, where are all of the Falcons fans this year? W/ the exception of preseason and the first week, I hadn't heard a peep from any of them on the B&G. Maybe they are pulling for a new team now.

This has got to sting. Also shows how inept their front office is. Ryan is not THAT bad.

Agreed, give Sean Payton 1 year with Matt Ryan and he could make him a winner.

He'd definitely be better than Tony Romo.
