Final Injury report
|
Re: Final Injury report
Graham, Loftan and Jordan have been upgraded to probable.

Re: Final Injury report
More rest for sproles and Jahri I'm not mad
|
Re: Final Injury report
Jahri may miss this week so it looks like lelito will be filling in for him
Lelito is a pretty good player to be fair |
Re: Final Injury report
Not too surprised we are banged up... Played a very physical game and then you head into a short week. If we weren't playing til Sunday I think everyone on this report would play, but I imagine we will be missing Evans and Sproles at least.

I would be worried if he had to start and play an entire game again. |
Re: Final Injury report
Agree on Lelito. I'd be uncomfortable if he had to play a whole game.

Re: Final Injury report
I think it might be time to let cadet and the guy we picked up from canada take over special teams duties. I like having sproles back there but I'd rather see him be limited to just offensive possessions now. He will be important for us down the stretch.

Re: Final Injury report
@MikeTriplett: #Saints made minor changes to injury report. TE Graham, DE Jordan, LB Lofton listed as probable. G Tim Lelito DNP for non-football reason.

I would hate to see our line take and steps backward as it seems to be improving a lot over the last few weeks. I hope that trend continues and we run the ball down their throats. Here is to another 100+yd game for Ingram lol. |
Re: Final Injury report
I think on short weeks the NFL is lenient with the accuracy of the injury report.
Everyone is questionable? no problem just another idiosyncrasy of the short week we've had a blow out with Lelito in, and losses with a healthy line--the difference is a 3 and 5 step drop and one of the 1st two reads being open |

Sproles was the week before |

Harris is an OT. Not sure he has that phone-booth power to excel inside. But I remember Strief commenting on how much Harris progressed and he expected good things out of Harris. Harris and Lelito making the 53 over Jones and Tiller tells me they see something special. |

Its time to try something else. |
Re: Final Injury report
I really hope we can open up the run game this week. If Sproles is out, I think we should try out Cadet out at punt return.

Ironically Sproles had the same issue the game before, but chances that will ever happen again are almost 0. He is our safest option to field punts. That ability can't be taken lightly. You simply don't just try another option to see how it goes. Same reason a good running back will be benched (see Reggie Bush and Steven Ridley this past week) when they fumble. It's not tolerated. |
Re: Final Injury report
Lelito as a blocking fullback was absolutely money!

Re: Final Injury report
Did I read that right almost the whole OLine is jacked up? Dang this game with Atlanta is going to be rough.
