Stop and smell the roses

How great is it that all we have to worry about is whether we get home field advantage or a first rd bye.Top 5 on offense and defense. These are the good old days.

WITH ALL DUE RESPECT TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER AND ANYONE READING THIS THREAD BUT I...

Don't mean to poo poo on anyone's parade, BUT....

Tomorrow is the SuperBowl for the Falcons. They're going to try and bring EVERYTHING they ever had this season at us tomorrow night. They may suck, but this is the NFL and the Falcons have nothing to lose which makes them dangerous.

Perfect time to catch the division leader looking past them to the next game where the Saints could play for NFC division lead.

If that happens, I want all the people who will return here to scream their brains out about the organization "in decline" along with our QB, defense, end of the world, sky falling etc. - I want them to read this thread. Because we don't hear much from you (the "moonshiners", as it was).

It is indeed a great time, we have tons to be thankful for, win or lose tomorrow night... like I said, win OR LOSE against the Falcons.

If you're the Falcons and winning 1 (one) game this year that will give you satisfaction and some bragging rights, because they are playing for nothing, which team left on their schedule do you think they want to win?

Last year, when we started 0-4 and limped to 2-5, winning the Falcons game (the division leader) was SWEET CANDY - killed their undefeated streak and shut some mouths. It just is what it is.

"Yes", I actually saw a titled thread to that affect in one of the ATL forum links posted here on B&G. It's the only game left on the schedule that matters for them. :mrgreen:.

I love this, and yes, Im enjoying football season. Are we a lock? No, we have a hell of a remaining schedule, but I wouldnt want it any other way.

... and I agree with this, also. Everyone our age, who has been following the Saints knows the records mean zero tomorrow night. (plus the factors you mentioned)

What astounds me is the posters who are saying tonight is going to be easy, or the Falcons have nothing , etc. HELLO? JETS? REMEMBER?

But they are not... They are horrible in every single aspect of their play. With the exception of Harry Douglas, every single player is playing like crap from Ryan to Jackson... When members of Falcons life get on the field then it is something to make note of.

Until then I hold that thread with the same regard as all the smack in the smack talk thread... blind wish-full thinking.

Until the players and Coach make that statement its just fans trying to find some last bastion of hope. Its the same fans saying this was the Falcons Super Bowl year, Rise up... yada yada. Did anyone buy into that?

Should be a great game for sure! And the chances are good that we split the two games... So Sea could end up comimg to you in the playoffs for the rematch, with both season records of only 2 losses. Thats very optimistic, but Saints always impress me. No reason to doubt either of these two teams right now.
