Pierre Thomas.... WOW
|
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
MVP tonight by far.
|
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
Earlier today, I said I believed Thomas was one of the most underrated players in the league.
Now, I don't believe. I KNOW. |
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
Holy...Moly...PT ran like a man possessed. And, boy, did we ever need him tonight. This offense struggles mightily without Sproles, as proved from the Jets game. But PT did what was needed; run game in the last 4 minutes. Also, Uncle Jed Collins was on-point with his blocks again tonight, and even in pass protection (although that was mighty close to a hold in the end zone).

Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
We really missed him in that 9ers divisional game back in 2011. :(

Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
MVP: Pierre Thomas
Best Supporting Actor: Jed Collins |
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
Has been our best RB for half a decade and no one else in the league knows who he is.

PT WENT BEASTMODE TONIGHT. I'm sure Seattle knows who PT is.

Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
we know pete. You guys think your the 85 bears
|
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
Thinking you can't be beat
|
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
PT was great tonight. Collins too. Ingram has looked better the last couple of weeks since getting back from his injury but then he goes and make a boneheaded play like when he tries to go to the outside on the zone play instead of just hitting the crater the O-line just opened.
|
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
Collins been balling pretty hard this year and especially lately helping our running game immensely these past 3 games.
|
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
PT is having himself a year. He's on pace to have around 750-800 rushing yards and should easily catch at least 70 passes for another 600 yards. Considering how much we rotate backs that is crazy good production.

NO VISION!!! That's why. PT has a great feel for that kind of stuff where as Ingram can't do **** if the paly doesn't develop as intended. He is stuffed way too often. |
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
PT is the most under rated RB in the league. Ive been saying it for years. Guy is stud. Frustrates me when ingram steals carries from him.
NO COMPARISON. |
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
Lets start preparing to show Seattle why they're not the '85 Bears.
Im sure Rob Ryan is showing a very unpleasant film clip to the defense in the next couple days also. I think we can throw history in the garbage. Lets beat their azzzzz. |

Ingram is keeping PT from being over-used. |
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
Its good that PT doesn't carry the load now, come playoff time run him until he pukes

Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
He is clutch, no doubt. He needs to show Ingram how to break tackles, Ingram got down right stood up several times last night.

Yes he did indeed. That disappointed me more than him missing that hole off of RG. I remember several years ago PT credited his off-season leg work as a reason for his ability to break more tackles. He was squatting some ridiculous amount of weight. |

Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
Yes Ingram missed the slo-motion replay of the hole opening up, I'm sure it looks a bit different in real time but the official sure did blow that whistle early. They let Jackson have 3 seconds after initial contact but blow it immediately when Ingram was contacted.

Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
In my mind he's a top 5 running back in this league. If he were a featured back like JC or AP he'd rack up over 1,500 yards from scrimmage and double digit touchdowns. As it stands, he'll probably get 1,300 yards from scrimmage even as part of a committee.

Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
You can't stop Pierre

I rewatched the game and one play shows what type of player PT is 2nd and 10 - We run a screen and the falcons guessed it correctly and played it right, PT catches the pass 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage and breaks two tackles, gaining 8 yards whilst dragging 3 tacklers with him for the final 4 yards That play should have been 3rd and 12, PT made it a 3rd and 2 |
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
"wow"
extremely well spoken. wow, indeed. |
Re: Pierre Thomas.... WOW
the team and coaches speak highly of ingram.
i trust their judgement more than any talking head or fan who thinks they have a clue. |
