One team is used to it, one team isn't.

Agree, but what can the Seahawks do about the fact they are not use to the weather?

Still to early to predict weather. Forecasts are no good beyond 48hrs IMO. However, if the weather is anything close to this, that is not good. Just saying.

Seattles D is banged up but Im not sure we'll be airing it out in those conditions.

Because of the importance of this game, I expect us to show up and play hard for a chance to win at the end.

The weather will affect both teams, you don't get used to playing in cold temperatures... Maybe mentally, but physically not a chance...

Re: Monday forecast in Seattle...

I think it's a little bit early for the forecast. Look, it's Seattle and it will be rainy (probably) and could be anywhere from 20's to 50 degrees.

It doesn't really matter what the weather is, the Saints have to bring their "A" game against a high quality opponent. All the drops, stutters, missed routes, muffs, leaving points on the scoreboard, and giving points away will have to come to an end for the Saints to survive on top with the opponents they face down the stretch.

Truth is though this is the first year Thurmond has even been healthy and Browner really hasn't contributed so in reality Thurmond has become our #1.
He is a good Corner but inexperienced and not real physical at the LOS. The way I see it is we will be playing our backup not our 3rd string.

Would I rather have Thurmond? Sure but like theOak said you have to play who you have. I think it is a slight downgrade but nothing that should affect the outcome of the game. If Someone tries to use it as an excuse they are reaching.

Outside of Thurmond our defense is really pretty healthy and our offense is as healthy as we are going to see it the rest of the year.

The weather out here lately has been kind of crazy. Get up in the morning to 19 degrees and it never gets above freezing all day then the next day you wake up to 39 degrees and the sun comes out and it gets near 50. Personally I hope the weather is good. I would rather see a good game with both teams not having any excuses. Other than the 12th man of course.

Hopefully it's a great environment for both fan bases everyone has a great time and the best team wins.
Thanks for the confidence in a Saints victory. That means a lot.

Somewhat seriously, I really feel the biggest factor will be in the experience factor of those with the ball. Let's not fool anyone. This is as big as a playoff game. The pressure will be huge. I went to NCSU so I have followed Wilson's career extensively. The kid is good. Very good. But, even with his baseball experience he does not come close to what Bress has been through. The same with the rest of the roster. The Saints' current roster has far more experience in these critical playoff style games than does the Seahawks.

That may really come into play on Monday night.

Love you on .Net by the way. Your one of the reasons I signed on here. Hoping to find more folks like yourself.

I'm hoping your wrong of course and youth shines over experience.

I can see this game going either way and that is not a lack of confidence in my team it is respect for yours. We can make arguments until the cows come home but everyone knows this is the two best teams in football facing off and small factors could easily be the deciding factor. Hopefully this game leaves no doubt who is the best team in football as well as a mutual respect for each.

Can't tell you how excited I am for this game. Not sure if I am more excited for this game or for next years match up when I come to NO for the game.
This game will be epic... We all can't wait.

Seahawks.NET is one of the best boards in the league. A class site if there ever was one.
