Just their opinions, which really don't matter in the big picture.

What would be interesting, however, is to go back for 5-10 years and see what rankings were held by the two Superbowl teams after week 12.

I'm guessing that they weren't both in the top 3 for the majority of years.

It would make for an interesting research project... if only I knew where ESPN achieves their weekly rankings.

Being an engineer, I like research projects... especially football-related ones.

Well the Monday Night game pits the #1 Seahawks against the #2 Saints.
If this doesn't excite you at this point of the season, you are nuts.

Imagine at the start of the season, would any of you have predicted this?
My hats off to the Saints for achieving this very important milestone at this point of the season.

Cowherd's ranking has the Saints at #3 and the Niners at #2. Cooky. Their QB has been sub par, below average receivers and, oh yeah, the Saints beat the Niners two weeks ago.

That's plain fruity.
