Re: Should we make a play for Michael Orr?
I agree the Ravens are probably going to let Oher walk; but I don't think we will get him.
Maybe we can do another "The Blind Side" movie about Charles Brown? And get Sandra Bullock to star in it? Ah... too much to ask! :argue: |

Strief is surprisingly the number 1 pass blocking tackle according to PFF, he is no slouch in the run game either. Add that to the huge contract you have to pay for Oher and Ill take Strief all day every day. The Saints don't spend money on Tackles, big contracts go to guards and centers, so if we are looking to improve the OL we need a good FA center; DLP has been the weak link this year IMO. |

Why are people in a rush to get rid of strief, he's the highest rated pass blocker in the NFL

i am not in a rush at all. all i can say is i wish he was 25 again. it is time to groom a replacement, a real replacement not some i woulda coulda UDFA. if you get a player like Orr you have extended Striefs playing time by a few years. some where down the road he will go back to a back up. i would love to milk another say 5 years out him at this stage of his career than drive him into the dirt in 3 |

Strief is the surprise of the season for me. dlp needs to get it together or be replaced.
