Saints screen plays may not work as well Monday night

Thomas and Sproles rank first and second in the NFL in receiving yards on screen passes since Sproles signed with the Saints in 2011.

However, stopping screens is an area where the Seattle defense excels. During that same span, the Seahawks have allowed the fewest yards per play on screen passes in the NFL. Over the past three seasons, Seattle has not allowed a touchdown on a screen pass.

Why is it, they keep talking about this guy Shurman and the other guy, both of whom are suspended for this game, like they're playing???

We will run the screen effectively because that is what we do.

Best in the NFL at screens IMO.

They may limit us but won't stop us.

The question is, WHO exactly have the Seahawks limited the screen passes of. Let's see, the Jaguars, Vikings, Titans, Panthers, the Falcons, and the Rams without Sam Bradford? Out of all the teams on their schedule I would only consider the Texans to be a team that actually runs the screen well, as a strength of their game plan. Seahawks fans had better hope in their gut that their team is as good against the screen as they think their team is. Are the Saints not any better at the screen than Jacksonville or Carolina or the Vikings?

If Seattle doesn't live up to their own hype, it will be a long night for them.

"Area excelled in".... Quite subjective.

Just because it may be what they are best as stopping in no way means they can stop us.

Timing is everything. We run it at the right time or in a formation they don't recognize it won't matter.

They did say this is over a period since the beginning of 2011. That's too much sample space to just thrust it aside.
