Re: This One Is On Sean
I don't think we can blame the defense nearly as much as the offense. Seattle averages high 20's in scoring and our defense held them to their average.
But look at these offensive drives. Six 3 and outs (one resulting in a Seattle TD), and one 5 and out, and two decent drives that ended on failed 4th and shorts. Going into the 4th quarter we had 104 total yards. No defense can play with an offense that futile. 15:00 1 01:29 NO 20 3 3 Punt 07:47 1 01:20 NO 20 3 2 Fumble 06:27 1 01:22 NO 20 3 4 Punt 01:55 1 08:10 NO 20 13 80 Touchdown 03:41 2 01:36 NO 22 3 8 Punt 00:13 2 00:13 NO 17 1 -1 End of Half 12:54 3 02:00 NO 17 3 -3 Punt 07:07 3 02:36 NO 22 5 19 Punt 02:32 3 03:45 NO 25 11 43 Downs 11:45 4 02:08 NO 43 8 35 Downs 01:49 4 01:31 NO 37 3 6 Punt |
