Positives coming out of the Seattle loss

Okay

It was ugly in all phases
And Seattle had everything going theirr way

It may be better to lose 34 - 7 then a close game

The positives

1) Sean Payton is the mastermind of revising the game plan and motivation

2) we are off the radar anD Seattle and Carolina will glow and buy the hype of the media spotlight at least till next week's Panther's loss

3) each player will be motivated to be on the top of teir game

4) no coasting all the remaining games are critical with huge sense of urgency

5) that great pass rush that contains most qbs will be fixed to contain, perfect to adjust to Cam Newton

6) we can't possibly play any flatter

7) 3rd and 3, 4th and 2. Plays will be refined to convert

8) We will have late season experience in Seattle
Not only crowd noise
Ryan, Sean, Drew and Co will come in with sharp film study and a great game plan

9) Seattle won't fear us

10). This week starts us peaking at the right time

11) the players and coaches are lighting a fire right now, look out Panthers

The Saints are poised to take this!

Even thru Seattle

Brady or Payton look out

Re: Positives coming out of the Seattle loss

Good list. Also, don't forget that in the scheme of things a #2 seed may actually have an easier road until the NFC Championship game. If San Fran gets the #6 seed (highly possible) someone gets them to come to their house. That isn't a easy game since San Fran is a quietly scary good team.

The positives

1) Sean Payton is the mastermind of revising the game plan and motivation - True.

2) we are off the radar anD Seattle and Carolina will glow and buy the hype of the media spotlight at least till next week's Panther's loss - We are on every broadcast on tv right now. Just not on the positive side. They'll be talking about the schellacking (sp) we got at the hands of the Seafalcons (thanks Oak) all week and asking if Carolina can do the same thing...especially since we got flexed to prime time.

3) each player will be motivated to be on the top of teir game - They better get that way.

4) no coasting all the remaining games are critical with HUGE sense of urgency - FIFY

5) that great pass rush that contains most qbs will be fixed to contain, perfect to adjust to Cam Newton - Hate to say it, but they won't catch him. He will, however, call his own number one too many times and he will pay for it.

6) we can't possibly play any flatter - True

7) 3rd and 3, 4th and 2. Plays will be refined to convert - We were doing pretty good there for a while on 3rd down conversions...What happened?

8) We will have late season experience in Seattle
Ryan, Sean, Drew and Co will come in with sharp film study and a great game plan - Looking forward to it! Looking for some payback. And I hope Alaska finds the MF who hit his wife!

9) Seattle won't fear us - We will have to DESTROY the Panthers for them to even give us a second look.

10). This week starts us peaking at the right time - Better late than never

11) the players and coaches are lighting a fire right now, look out Panthers - Except they're stuck in Seattle.

The Saints are poised to take this!

Even thru Seattle

Brady or Payton look out

I still see 12-4 or 13-3 for the season (same as before season started).

Have a gut feeling someone is going into Seattle in and picking off the SeaChickens.

Hope the team truly studies last nights game, you can bet the Panthers will try and use the same game-plan...

That I want to see. And, I would LOVE that team to be the Saints. Maybe, too hopeful, but f*ckit. That's what I want. I'm sick of us being afraid of Seattle. Remember, how we felt about the Pats in 2009? Remember, how we handed them their azz? God, I want that.

Saints 34, Carolina 13

It will be ugly. For them.

You had me until the Seahawks blinded by the media stuff. Our leaders are Earl and Russell, neither are what anyone would characterize as media whores. Much like Brees in fact......I do believe you beat Carolina this Sunday though. In fact if you don't I will be SERIOUSLY disappointed.

Lynch 16 carries, 45 yards.

That's too easy so I shall leave it alone given it's the open forum. Except we did rush for 120+ yards.....I assumed you figured out that it isn't Marshawn's team anymore?

Either way my intent isn't to talk smack about a game that's already done and past. You have Carolina and we have San Francisco on deck that should be our focus unless we meet again. Which I think is highly probable.

didn't say anything about media whores

when everyone says you're the best
and the microphones and articles praising you are everywhere
it can get in your head

every team has experienced this at some point

kind of odd you are a SH fan still posting in the Saints forums
isn't there another game on your schedule, another forum to sign up for
guess you just like to gloat
or nobody kicks a dead dog

bring on January
