I damn sure hope so!!!

The New Orleans Saints took a butt-whooping on Monday Night Football, as they where dominated by the Seattle Seahawks to the tune of 34-7. The game kept Seattle in the driver’s seat for the No. 1 seed in the NFC and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, but Saints quarterback Drew Brees is not completely discouraged from the loss.

In fact, Brees is confident that his team will be able to play better moving forward and he is looking forward to another meeting with the Seahawks down the road.

“We know they are a team we are going to have to deal with in the future,” Brees said, via NOLA.com. “We are going to have to find a way to play better against these guys when that time comes.”

The two teams are the best that the NFC has to offer, so it is very possible that the two teams could meet in the postseason.

Unfortunately for New Orleans, the Seahawks proved that they are a far better team than the Saints, so anyone that is forced to go to CenturyLink Field for a meeting with the Seahawks down the road looks to be in serious trouble — no matter how confident they may be.

I read the article and I don't see where Drew promised to play better against the Seahawks. Anyway, all I can say to Drew Brees, Sean Payton, Rob Ryan and all the rest is.......TALK IS CHEAP!!!. These guys have been talking this ****z for a while now and they NEVER back it up. If you're gonna talk the talk, you'd better walk the walk. I say, put up or shut up. I'm tired of hearing all the talk and excuses.

There are a few teams who know how to rattle Drew out of his comfort zone with high pressure. Seattle, San Francisco and Baltimore are always problems for us. Quick, physical and aggressive Defenses that aren't waiting for Drew to pick them apart.

Brees usually has a couple of awful games a year but this was by far the worst, not putting it all on him but that fumble set off a chain reaction. I will say however he usually bounces back well after a poor performance. I seriously doubt we see a loss like that again this season, we may lose but I believe we will be in games from here on out until the end. Almost everything that could have went wrong did. The odds of that happening again are probably more unlikely than us winning the SB.

They do not have the mental toughness to win on the road now or in the playoffs. Providing they make the playoffs.

Its not all on Brees, the freaking whole offense has to produce to let our defense rest. They better get their head out of their asses because it go time right now.

No more excuses, no more BS, put up or shut up.

Here is the thing, we as fans put up a lot of money for our team to produce, if a team like the Seahawks are better than us, than so be it. All I ask for is 100% all day/night long from both sides.

If we are out manned and coached, then the better team won, no love lost just the better team won. All I ask is that you put your entire heart on the line every week. That's your fkin job!!!!

I'm thinking 400 yards and 4 touchdowns against the Panthers. Sunday night in the Dome is Drew's domain. He dominates at home on Sunday night. The Panthers will play okay, but we will put up 35 points or more and win outright.

Stating the obvious... Brees play was not the sole reason Seattle won.

Assuming the same teams play again this year, even if Drew plays better, Seattle will still win in Seattle.

I don't want the team thinking about playing the Seahawks again. I want them focused on playing the Panthers. Then when that game is over; I want them focused on the Rams.

JMHO; If they think getting to the NFCCG is a "given", we are already in trouble.

The only good thing about that loss was the ability to come up with a more effective game plan next time (down the road). Thankfully it wasn't a post-season lesson this time.
However, we have a few games left to get through first. Panthers will have to deal the rath.
