Re: Saints issue first injury report for #Panthers game
I'm a bit relieved that Strief is just an ankle. I know high ankle sprains can linger for weeks, if not months, but its a lot better long term than a knee.
BTW: Wasn't it a high ankle sprain that bothered him for most of the season last year? |
Re: Saints issue first injury report for #Panthers game
When is Foster set to return?

Re: Saints issue first injury report for #Panthers game
Do we even know that Strief's ankle injury is the high ankle variety?

Rest up Strief, you have your work cut out for you this week.

some fans either need to practice loyalty... or look the word up, evidently.

Zach Strief's injury not as bad as feared
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com Saints right tackle Zach Strief would not have been able to participate had the team practiced Wednesday, but he said the ankle injury he suffered Monday in Seattle is not too serious. “We’ll see,” Strief said, per ESPN.com. “I’m not a guy that has to be 100 percent; I’m a bad enough athlete. I think it scared me a good bit on the field, but it’s not as bad as it could have been.” Still, Strief's availability for Week 14 vs. Carolina is uncertain. |

I don't understand why you guys go after Choup so much ... I mean, he's harmless, calls you a 'falcons fan', questions your loyalty on occasion, calls you guys out on some of your extreme political viewpoints but, meh ... easily ignored, IMO.
I've seen far worse, mean-spirited 'trolling' by a couple of you guys (you know who you are) in regards to unions, race, paying fed income taxes, Detroit-is-a-slum, et. ... and for crissake, the PoliSci forum, .. just sayin'. Maybe what I'm getting at is there's a little bit of Choup in all of us. It's the holidays, fellas ... peace/goodwill towards men and all that good stuff, eh?. |
