The Panthers are far from weak. Until tonight they had the best defense in the NFL, a mobile qb who is tough for anyone to bring down and some pretty good special teams. They were hot. Red hot and IMO were a better team than Seattle with the way they were playing. The Panthers are a good football team, definitely top 4-5 in the NFLer and are legit super bowl contenders. Credit our Offense and Defense for taking care of business. We beat a damn good football team today. Handily.

They'll look completely different two weeks from now. And IDC what the stats say, Seattle and San Francisco both have better defenses then Carolina and that piss poor secondary. Seattle and San Fran are great at all 3 levels, while Carolina is great at two. But let's stay grounded, because they're going to go balls to wall in Charlotte.

I'm just praying Seattle will drop two more games and we win out.

Thats what I think too. give me the team that played last night and that played against Dallas and even the Cards and nobody can touch us. Different story with the team that played Seattle. Here is the wash brother. No team plays at the level we did against Dallas every week. If they did they would go undefeated and that's a perfect season. Only 1 team in history has pulled that off through the Super Bowl, other than that only 3 have ever pulled off a perfect regular season. Since 1961 only 8 teams have ended a season with only 1 loss.

Here we sit with a dismal 10-3 record. Get some Prozac why don't ya.

We have a grand total of three losses and every time we lose a game your sky comes crumbling down. Every time we try to enjoy win you come in to temper it with starting a thread about "but I am worried about the next one".

Now you start threads that by your own post game explanation have zero meaning. "I didn't say we would, I said we "could""... The "could" possibilities range from 1% to 99% and nearly all of yours fall into the <8% range.

Sorry, I have digressed. The point being in your words if you can be a fan of the perfect team than there would be no worries... What an epiphany.

There is no perfect team. Try taking the good with the bad and enjoy the season while letting others enjoy theirs.

I knew they werent all that they were hyped up to be but i did think they would of gave us a bigger challenge because of it being divisional game

Btw, I went to the Cardinals game today and man that defense is nasty. Just nasty. I hope the Giants shock the Seahawks and the Cardinals throttle the Seahawks somehow.
