Or at least up till tonight. Where has this team been? IF this team shows up from now up there is no reason in the world we cant win it all. I thought the oline played the best its played all year and for the first time carolina was completely healthy. This was unexpected but friggin awesome.
Maybe we can be that team that gets hot right at the right time.

When are people coming back to gloat a little? After the loss on Monday, this forum - although tons of members logging in - it became a ghost town at times. Weird for this late in the season.

That is not the best defense in the NFL, whatever the statistics say. No defense with a secondary that crappy can claim to be the best.

watching Carolina prior to this, they never impressed me, they were winning, but they were beating teams that shoot themselves in the foot almost every week it seemed, so it wasnt surprising we saw the thumping we saw tonight.

We won like we needed to we had to come prove we r legit.. i said earlier we needed to win by 17.. we needed a good win since them seahawks.... soo saints fans does anybody know what the deciable sound was.. did we really break it or like the announcer said they lied of course they have to say that...

At one point I heard broke 126 db?
Blows my mind that outdoor stadiums are louder than indoor stadiums. Doesn't make sense.....????

I'd love to gloat, but I can't figure out who the Saints are yet. This was great though, and not quite shocking since we are as close to completely unbeatable at home as any team in the history of professional sports has been. Especially at night.

Carolina showed up like the Saints did in Seattle. The Panthers aren't that bad and the Saints certainly aren't as bad as they looked against the Seahawks. And Jets. The O-Line protected Brees and when that happens, the Saints usually win.

People are having a hard time understanding this concept....the loudest stadium as measured by Guinness World Records, is the most recent one that pays the Guinness Book of World Records a fee, to have an "authority" come and attend the event and measure the volume....no one who has paid to have the Guinness people come measure, has ever lost....to the previous stadium....

I became suicidal and got smashed on half a glass of beer last week after the game, ending up curled in the feotal position in a deep traumatic sleep, haunted by scattered nightmares.

Didn't really want to buy into the negative waves and read all the crap.

Feeling better today.

Had a whole beer and i'm still up an about. Good times!

I've been here all week. Hard to gloat after the loss....but hey, I wasn't worried. This is an awesome team. Proud to be a fan -- even when we lose. Except when we lost to the fvckin' Jets.

If the zebras hadn't been working for the Panthers, we would have put a 50 burger on those dillwads.

When we see NOLA54 again, we are issuing him a black jock with a fleur de lis on it. Sucka!!

People are misunderstanding what I said (not just you WHODATICA). I meant people need to gloat a little after winning TONIGHT! No gloating after MNF. We beat supposedly "THE BEST" in the NFC (Panthers did beat the Seahags) and yeah, after all the BS this week on TV, everyone is allowed a little bit of gloating.

Yeah, I was away as well. Sometimes you need to go to a dark room and have some alone time. Hearing from others only makes the room darker and the situation worse.

I'm gloating and I will all week because I live in NC, but Halo, the Panthers did not beat Seattle. They got beat 12-7. Indy, until yesterday, was the only team to beat Seattle. Our beat down from Seattle was just a practice game for the real game coming up for the NFC Championship ;). We will be better prepared this go round.

Now thats the way I remember our O being able to play, man they looked good. Only negative is the slow start but we are known to get the feel of the game first. Our D played well as a unit. The entire team looked balanced in the 2nd quarter until the end.
