Walker, Hicks and Jenkins
No doubt our offense was amazing tonight.
Doing what was needed to win. But, I wanted to point out how well our interior D-Line played tonight. Collinsworth pointed out a number of times how the push from the middle limited Cam's ability to step up, and I couldn't agree more. They set the tone early. On the sack that ended Carolina's first drive, Cam had nowhere to go but down. Their play on 1st down helped Carolina stay out of 2nd and 3rd and short. That was crucial. We all have heard how "pressure" allows the back 7 to play better and tonight was a clear example of that. |
