Walker, Hicks and Jenkins
 

No doubt our offense was amazing tonight.
Doing what was needed to win.
But, I wanted to point out how well our interior D-Line played tonight.
Collinsworth pointed out a number of times how the push from the middle limited Cam's ability to step up, and I couldn't agree more.
They set the tone early.
On the sack that ended Carolina's first drive, Cam had nowhere to go but down.
Their play on 1st down helped Carolina stay out of 2nd and 3rd and short.
That was crucial.
We all have heard how "pressure" allows the back 7 to play better and tonight was a clear example of that.

I loved seeing the big man Jenkins get in there and get a hit on Cam. He's got a high motor for being such a big dude

I think this also speaks to how well we did in the draft this year. Kenny Vaccaro and John Jenkins have made great strides and have affected many key plays this year.

Our D-line is young and ridiculously talented. I think our D will be a strength for the next couple of years.

Does Cam have 11 sacks??? Junyah's 3 sack night puts him@ what 8.... 9... there getting so many I kinda lost count!!!

Other than KC no other team has 2 in the top 15.

Gallett got so low on one stance, he was inches from the ground with his body spread out like he was doing a pushup. I've never seen anybody do that. I think it resutled in a sack.

It reminded of Mark Fields once leaping over the whole OL in a preseason game against Miami. Does it work? Only one way to find out is what I image went through MF's head. Not sure if Gallett's stance is any real advantage but if it works for him go for it.

i think we have a nice mix on the d line and i am really liking the development of all three but the two starters Hicks and Jenkins look to have the ability to become something special. all we need yo do add some quality back up to the rotation.

I like Hicks so much i am ready to pass on a DE?OLB in the draft in round 1 if a good one is there. take the call and make the trade.

Now, if we can just start coaching strip, fumble recovery and pick 6s -- a big time scoring D -- life would be completely amazing.

Did anyone see walker? I didn't.. I think if we tighten up our run d and stop stupid mistakes we are a scary d/team.

In the past 3 weeks or so the run D has been lights out. Even against Seattle.... As a Defense the only problem I have right now is getting a few more takeaways, but @ this point that is truly nitpicking because they are stopping the run, getting to the qb, getting themselves of the field, and giving field goals and not TDs

We still need to draft another DT,DE..Buckley is getting long in the tooth and is pricey for his production.Adding two new players to the rotation would be beneficial.Remember you heard it here first. RT,C,OG, Also needed
