Thank you for posting these - would love to hear other memories of this record shattering day in 1970. A game changer. That we old saints fans hung our hats on for far too many years.

Its kind of ironic to me that we have had a 63 yarder and a 64 yarder in the last 15 years and both were in Denver.

Congrats to Prater. A tremendous feat.

But "The Boot" will always stand in my mind.

Dempsey Shattered the previous mark of 56 yards. Previously held by Bert Rechichar of the Colts in 1953.

It is the equivalent of in 17 years someone Kicking a 74 yard field goal.

never did like denver, much less their horse team... but then i've lived near there, so i'm only speaking from experience.
