Junyah's Stance

Wow does he get LOW!! Talk about leverage. I hadnt seen that camera view of him and didn't realize how low he got - he looks like a Feerari ready to go!

Like a wild animal ready to strike his prey. That boy is poised for great things. I can only imagine how great he would be if we acquired another young pass-rusher to play opposite him in base 3-4 formations with Jordan and Hicks pushing the pocket from inside!

Re: Junyah's Stance

It's not only the 9 QB sacks so far; it's the QB hurries and pressure he generates. He also does a decent job against the run (although he didn't do well at trying to keep Russell Wilson from getting outside of him in the Seattle game). Hopefully, he's learned from that experience.

Re: Junyah's Stance

Galette has really helped Cam Jordan's sack numbers by pushing the QB back into Jordan's side as he tries to get away from Galette's outside rush.

That doesn't show up on the stat sheet... but it's there.

He and Jordan both explode off the snap. Impressive.

Someone needs to make an animated gif of him moving on his fingertips in that stance, with a little xylophone sound effect like in the old Loony Tunes cartoons

Re: Junyah's Stance

He doesnt do much finger tipping at his size... The picture Smashmouth posted he is coming our of his stance.. notice the ball is already snapped, there isnt any weight on them. In Danno's image he is pre-snap and more on the front of the palm with plenty of weight on it.

Re: Junyah's Stance

The Eagles used to do that in their 'wide 9' package. The ends used to get down that low but I don't think it was used to as great effect as we are using it.
