How much do you drink on game day?
 

Well lately I will confess that I have drank more on game day whether I'm at the game or at home. I think its because we have had a lot of late night prime time games recently. If its a noon game I usually have a few beers but nothing to crazy. What say you????? This is Sparta!!!!!!!

It depends on the game.

If the Saints are balling, a few beers or 1 or 2 of my lucky New Orleans themed mixed drinks.

If the Saints are trying to kill me, I have been known to drink vodka right out of the bottle. I don't know how sober folks watch some of these games, and I don't want to know. Bottoms up.

Iv'e had beer, wine, white rooskies... Whatever I drink it's never enough when we lose.

nadda. I need my faculties. The Saints drive me crazy sometimes, and I have to be of sound mind and body otherwise I'd have a heart attack...or several heart attacks.

The Saints have been driving fans to drinking since 1967. In the early years, it was to drown our sorrow. Today, it's to calm our nerves in waaaay too many games won or lost in the final seconds. Wine has become my friend! Or beer; or bourbon. Or NyQuil; anything with an alcohol content! Lol!

I usually drink too much for Saints games, and recover during the week, and do it again for the next game. Seattle game was liqour, rum and cokes, some jack, even a couple beers. Yesterday was Dos XX's.

Not so much anymore but I would pound drinks during the Haslett years. I'd go get a 24 pack of Miller High Life or something and drink half of them during the game, then another 5 or 6 afterward.

These days I usually won't drink during a game unless I have to go to a bar to watch it. Even then I will just get a couple of whiskeys and keep it on the down low.

Among the downsides of being on the west coast is the 10 AM games - even I don't like to start drinking at 10 AM.

Beer, it's not just for breakfast anymore.

I usually don't end up drinking -- even though it is fully my intention.

If I am at a bar, though, I will drink beer -- usually nothing stronger.

Alcohol doesn't make losses hurt less for me.

I don't drink these days, but back in the day it used to easily be anywhere from 16 to 28 beers on a Sunday. A few years back this number was cut down to around 12 to 15. (Harder to drink as you get older... Actually harder to get up the next morning)

Let's see, Sunday I started at 11:30 with a Bud tall boy then had another.
Glass of wine with lunch at my parents house, then another beer after lunch. Drove down to the game and had a pregame 6 pack and cigar then had 4 more in the dome. Then 1 more celebratory beer after the game. Yeah I've cut back a little since reaching my mid 40's.

i don't drink all that much anymore, since the 80s, early 90s.

i don't miss hangovers one bit. you can have my share.

perhaps the fact that i used to manage a bar, and bartend when i was a young pup, might have something to do with the fact that i think most drunk humans become idiotic.

Just depends for away games but nothing crazy, and usually only a few at the Dome ($8.50/per).

Cant drink during the game. I was drinking Jack Daniels on ice had a loss to NE, No more buffalo wings because of a loss to NYJ, and Lenny's is out because of Seattle. I know its weird but I can't repeat what I did on the day of a loss.

If I"m home & off the road, I"m drinking. If the Saints are playing then thats a big bonus and I tend to drink more. I"d say at least one big tumbler of Beam & diet 7up on ice per quarter. Its so good and goes down so easy. :)
