New Orleans Saints' Drew Brees up for FedEx Air Player of the Week honor
 

Drew Brees' stellar outing in Week 14 has the New Orleans Saints quarterback nominated once again for the FedEx Air Player of the Week honor.

Brees threw for 313 passing yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions computing to a 124.4 quarterback rating in the team's 31-13 win over Carolina. Brees has some stiff competition vying for the honor against Denver's Peyton Manning and Chicago's Josh McCown.

they hand out so many awards like this these days they lose meaning...

week after week...

it is all about FEDEX being able to say their name over and over, these days.

He's been nominated at least two other times this season. Too bad he doesn't play well enough to get league MVP. (Sarcasm) Oh well, maybe he'll just have to settle for Super Bowl 48 MVP!
