If you mean get him back on the active roster, he has already allowed to practice with the team.

Idk....wouldn't he share snaps with Gallette? I don't want Gallette out at all. The guy is doing great!

I think, I could be wrong but VB is playing Olb (intended for 3 /4 defense) more likely to replace Parys Haralson

We been playing more of a 3 DL (hicks Buckley Jordan )
3 Lb ( galette,Hawthorne, Lofton)
5 Db ( white, Lewis, bush, Vaccarro, Jenkins )

Butler might be the little surprise package he plan to use in the playoffs 3/4

The deadline has passed but nothing has been reported yet. he is still listed on the Saints website as PUP. Parys was brought in to replace Smith. If Butler makes it back he will likely be used to relieve Gallette instead of Dawson and I would prefer Gallette get a breath with Butler in that Dawson.

I think today they have to announce what they do with Butler. I believe he will be out the rest of the year. He's not ready.

Nope. He isn't a FA till 2015.
His 2014 void clause is denied.


SR is so damn funny. They read the caluse backwards and think that the 2014 Void Clause is something Butler would have to execute... Its the Team that has that option. LOL
