You're talkin about mosley correct? Would be great.

At this point im just fed up with all the mocks of lee and ford to us, i hope its anyone but them lol. Dee ford is solid, but i just cant get over the fact that we already have a guy like him in junior & if we went that route why not get attaochu over him? Attaochu is just learning the game & already seems just as polished with a higher ceiling. Not to mention two years younger...i like attaochu over any other pass rusher in the draft.

Wouldnt mind shazier or van noy either... Reasoning for that is bc we got killed on intermediate routes last year & was our main issue from our pass defense. It doesnt take a genius to figure out that having a bobby wagner/bruce irvin goes a looong way in helping the secondary fix that. And i see shazier/van noy helping tremendously in that area. Lofton/gallete/hawthorne/harelson/butler are easily not the answer to help fixing that ha. One trick guys.

Looking at G in some capacity.

Middle Tennessee State OG Josh Walker has worked out for the Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions. The Miami Dolphins have also shown heightened interest in Walker.

WR ALBERT WILSON GEORGIA ST. WR/KR

Maybe a top UDFA? needs work on his cut in and out of routes but the kid is solid. Reports of a sub 4.4 circle around the kid also. developmental slot WR?

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

Some people have said the top 2 CBs will be gone before we pick. We know SP or Loomis is going to go BPA......that just may end up being Cooks. But its possible he could go before we pick. I don't want Roby, he is a buckeye product and we saw what happened with Jenkins...he half produced. Some mock draft expert at NFL has us picking that Utah CB in rd 2. Um, I hope not. Also, steelers want Fuller so he's off the list.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

cook is a good pick in our offense. Darrin proved the worth of a might mouse on offense. many a sleepless night for SP. how many ways can i get this kid the ball.

There is only one DB in this draft well in the last couple of draft that can cover the Cook, Odell, Rice, Welker and Austin type of first round graded talent and that is Jason Verrett.

His reaction time is off the chart. athleticism is off the chart. so i do not do not get the under value of a defender that can cover players under 6'1" all over the field and actually rack up pass defenses and can rack up INT's along the way.

I think the NFL draft rating system for DB is a few years behind the times compared of those for the these smaller quick twitch speed demons on offense that all get first round grades. why not defenders that can actually cover them?

This is why i have no problem with the other mighty mouse in the draft Jason Verret to our pick at 27 over say Kyle Fuller or Bradely Robey. neither has the reaction skills of Verrett.

Verret having man duty all game long on these specialty players would be huge for the saints. we are not a zone defense 75% of the time. man on man baby.

at times height is so over rated ask sam mills. put in the right schemes and use the right way all you need to talk about is the skill sets. this is what god made verret to do in the NFL neutralize those players that mess with defensive coordinators head all week.

Verrett is a DC 500mg Advil

Yeah he would be good too. That same expert picked Atlanta to get him in second round.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

from 2004 to 2012

2012 New Orleans Saints 16 16
2011 New Orleans Saints 14 14
2010 New Orleans Saints 15 15
2009 New Orleans Saints 16 16
2008 New Orleans Saints 16 16
2007 New Orleans Saints 16 16
2006 New Orleans Saints 14 14
2005 New Orleans Saints 16 9
2004 New Orleans Saints 16 4

have to say Durability is there and well his stats are solid.
2004 all rookie
2006 pro bowl

you gotta also remember he went through some DC in his time and he was always the player they asked to put on weight and a year or two later drop it. that is probably due to his talent level i would assume

i can live with durability and productive tagged to him

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

No contract yet agreed for Jimmy and assuming nothing is signed predraft and Eric Ebron is there at around pick 20 or Troy Niklas is there in the second,do you male the move to grab one incase either Jimmy only agrees to the One year tag or another team makes a move post draft.
