That's not my job. Plus, I don't keep up with players as close as some of you guys do. So my decision would be terribly uninformed. I was just saying that, in my opinion, the people who make those kind of decisions will decide that he is a liability and will not play against the Panthers. I'm probably wrong. Just a hunch. IIRC Hartley missed a field goal a couple of years ago,early in the season, against Atlanta that eventually cost us home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Instead we went to Seattle. We all know how that turned out. I have defended Hartley as much, if not more than anybody on this site. I can't do it anymore. I've said it numerous times since yesterday, that second field goal attempt was a world record shank. That ball was NOT tipped or blocked. What you saw yesterday was all Hartley. There is no way to defend that.
