this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Fred\'s been fighting through some injuries and what not. He is a good CB, but come on, dude is 5\'9 185lbs. That doesn\'t fly well in today\'s NFL. He\'s great to have in nickel coverage. That\'s where he made his ...

What happened to Fred Thomas?
Fred\'s been fighting through some injuries and what not. He is a good CB, but come on, dude is 5\'9 185lbs. That doesn\'t fly well in today\'s NFL. He\'s great to have in nickel coverage. That\'s where he made his name. Brown looked pretty good as a stop gap, but we need a big kid on the other side too.
Just don\'t forget, Thomas has been our most consistent DB. Man deserves some respect for that. |
