I didnt think about this before but the one team who could beat Seattle
is Green Bay. Imagine if GB wins out and gets the north and plays at home against SF or Carolina(not us hopefully). They can win either of those and remember what happened last year with Seattle? They will not take them lightly and Seattle has been used to blowout home games all year and I feel the first challenge that awaits them they may not come out of.

Re: I didnt think about this before but the one team who could beat Seattle
Not if Rodgers isn't playing

Re: I didnt think about this before but the one team who could beat Seattle
Two teams have a legit shot at knocking off Seattle
San Fran and us The Lions are too streaky, but if they make the playoffs and fire on all cylinders they could do it I'd love to play Green Bay for the nfcc in the dome |
Re: I didnt think about this before but the one team who could beat Seattle
I would love to play the PEDhawks on the road for the NFCC game; I don't think they could handle the pressure.

Re: I didnt think about this before but the one team who could beat Seattle
Like they say,"There is a reason why you play the game". cuz anything can happen on any given Sunday. But quite honestly…..Seattle, in Seattle, would be tough, very tough. For anyone, including us. They play off energy and emotion and there's a pretty fair amount of it in their house. Not saying it can't happen, just saying it's going to be monumental task for anyone.

I want us to beat Sesttle in their house - no excuses!!

Re: I didnt think about this before but the one team who could beat Seattle
I dont think Seattle is going to make it to the NFCCG. Just a hunch but I think they are done after the bye.

Re: I didnt think about this before but the one team who could beat Seattle
What if the Payton said lets not show Seattle anything in our bag of tricks, lets play stupid so when we face them again in Seattle they get cocky and throw us a bone.

If we don't win this Sunday against the Panthers, then we could see them in Seattle in the divisional round. So, we better freakin' win on Sunday. But, even then, we'd have to face them in the conference round in Seattle. So, we will likely have to play them again.

Re: I didnt think about this before but the one team who could beat Seattle
Got to get the win this week period. We are going to need the ball to bounch our way for a good run to happen. No defensive touchdowns is a glaring stat for us. Have not had anyone step up for us White had a chance and blew it. We just need to catch some breaks and Seattle is looming sure noone gives us much of a chance if or when we go there it would be really hard for us to win but you got to think we a least have a chance.

Re: I didnt think about this before but the one team who could beat Seattle
Look at the record of how many first seed teams went to the superbowl since 2008
Hint. Both teams met in 2009 |
Re: I didnt think about this before but the one team who could beat Seattle
Philly could beat them with that bizzaro offense.(or get blown out by 40)
San Fran AND Arizona both can because they're division rivals. Saints can because we've already experienced playing there. Carolina might because defenses typically travel well. The rest of the contenders wouldn't have a prayer. |

Re: I didnt think about this before but the one team who could beat Seattle
Trust me, teams have beat themselves against Rodgers in the past. Packers defense wasnt great in 2010 either, and it was because of Rodgers and the emotion of the defense why they won it all. Plus none of the other QBs had any experience, not even Vick(6 years since playing a fourth playoff game and winning only 2).
Which brings me to this, if the teams in now make the playoffs, it goes to show that SF and Seattle are trying to give the power back to the AFC. Because outside of us, none of those teams are beating Manning. Wilson is in for a huge reality check if he gets to the sb. And I think most of us know that ravens game wasnt close and Baltimore had shown SF how inexperienced they were before that outage. But Manning is a different qb altogether and who is SF gonna stop between Thomas, Welker, Decker, and the other Thomas? Manning has too many alternatives. |
