EASY:
Keuchly is a great player, but seriously never gets called for anything. Third and goal up 3-0 he is all over Graham, no call.
3 instead of 7.
Key plays we didn't make? too many to count on offense

The 11 yard sack taking us out of FG range in first qtr hurt as well.
Incomplete or only 6-7 yards and at least we are trying it

Is it me or does RR like to all out blitz on important drives way too much. In Seattle we blitz all out and get burned in Carolina today in new england. Reminds me of us in NFCG in SF :(

stick with what was working. it is simple. clock should not tell you what to do. short punt should have meant our corner were not going to start playing an extra 2 yards wr.

I'll throw this one out there... In the 4th quarter we are up 13-10 with about 3 and change on the clock. Its 2nd down and 8, Brees threw a pass to Colston that looked incomplete and was ruled such on the field. Payton challenges and on replay looks like a completed pass. Unfortunately after further review the play was upheld. FOX showed a pretty good replay of Colston getting his hands underneath the ball.

If that play call goes the other way, we have a 3rd and 4 from our 34 yard line with the clock moving. No saying we would have gotten a first down to extend the drive. However, I'd take 3rd and 4 over 3rd and 8 any time. Of course on 3rd and 8 the next play resulted in yet another sack of Brees, and Morstead punt.

To me there were 4-5. Brees throwing 2 int's. Taking away the hot hand we had running the ball. Trying to force the screen game that was not working and Jenkins flying by Newton for a sack. 1 of Brees int's cost us 7 on the Panthers 1st play after and if Jenkins plants Newtons face in the dirt that TD don't happen, those 2 plays to me were the difference today.14 points right there.

yep Brees putting the panthers 2x on the short field lost the game. Its almost understood at this point that a opposing team will get short field or a gift 7pts when they play us, and thats got to stop. Its amazing our D held to 16pts because of how badly Brees and the offense has been playing.

Just another example of the crappy officiating which is suddenly in vogue in the NFL.

In the Sunday night game, the officials gave the Bears a 1st down after Cutler scrambled on 4th down and was short. Bears spiked the ball and kicked a FG before halftime.

The fake field goal was moronic. We then gave their defense plenty of time to adjust to the fake. Was not thought out very well IMO.

This offense just did not even remotely resemble the offense we SHOULD take to the Division Championship game.

I knew we were doomed when at 1:52 we ran three sorry plays and punted the ball BACK to them, only running 20 seconds off the clock with those three plays.

The alternative was their kicking a field goal at the end and dragging our misery into overtime.

I would actually plead to Brees. Please stop trying to win games. Just manage them. Your killing us with the points you give to the other team or field position.
We cant win if you keep doing this.
Take the sack or throw it away. We would win more.

Yup. This ^^. It's very disappointing. But, without more balance -- MEANING A RUN GAME -- it's likely this will continue. Brees is used to winning on the strength of his passing game. He should argue with Payton. His record is being f*cked up by this BS. And, he should help pay for an O-line to protect him and run block. It's simple.

The fake FG was terrible because the throw didn't even give Graham a chance.
The three key plays were the last three plays Carolina made.
