Jimmy Graham or help on our offensive line??

It could come down to a choice between the two. I am sure we will draft along the line, but doubt we will get a year one contributor. Do you think Loomis will try and go offensive line in free agency, Michael Orr maybe? If so where does that leave us with Graham?

Either way Brees has got to restructure. If we had a decent offensive line we would be 1 seed right now.

I'd draft O-Line in the first round, and sign Graham...

Remember that Vilma and Will Smith are almost guaranteed gone. That's a ton of money we can save. I'm hopeful that will be enough to help us keep Graham and rebuild the O Line.

We can do both

Somewhere along the way let's teach Jimmy that it's easier to catch a football than whine about how someone denied you the opportunity. Extend your arms and it's YOURS.

O-Line first and third draft picks. Secondary on second pick.

I don't think there is anyway possible that they would let Jimmy walk. I think both Brees and Colston will restructure their current deals.

Too early to make a judgement call on the draft. Normally that will change with who we get in free agency.

Brees and Colston MUST restructure - Brees' contract alone has crippled any ability to acquire and improve the team through free agency...

I like Michael Orr the person, but I don't think he is any better than what we have.

Every time I see Orr play(not often), he seems to be struggling

Are we talking about Michael Oher? Big Name, Big Salary Cap Hit, Small Reward...

Younger, Faster, Stronger...

Maybe we can get like 3 Cam Jordan potential players for the oline

1-At the very least we tag Jimmy Graham
2-We have players that we can develop on our roster already, f*ck sakes.

You know you've lost faith when you start talking about next year.

While I agree, and I would add not flexing or show-boating after EVERY play, I think teaching him how to block would be more beneficial to the offense. He's a complete non-factor in the run game.

O-Line and possibly some new receivers. I love Lance, Meach, etc. but, whatever -- they need to get off the line and get open. That's their job. That includes Jimmy Graham. I think the last third of his season has not helped his contract negotiations.

'Or' is not the solution at all.
"And" might be.

So I take the latter.

Rebuild the front line at all costs and worry about Graham later or let him walk. If the front line is not rebuilt, then it's time to let Brees walk too.

O-line road graders, Stills is going to be good people another deep threat in the later rounds could go a long way. I'm not against trading our 1st for more picks at all this next draft and trade a few players for players or more picks. Remember we will be running a 3-4 D next season also.

We are one of the top spending teams in the league every year... there's no reason why we can't do both. We are not a team that's afraid of adding payroll. We have a legit two year window to go to another Superbowl. We'll do what it takes to capitalize on it.

Re: Jimmy Graham or help on our offensive line??

I'm gonna be honest here but if we don't get to a sb Graham may bolt for a better sb contender(such as an elite AFC team that is a TE away) regardless of how much money we offer. I could see Pittsburgh, Indianapolis making a play for him and in the NFC Atlanta will as well as Detroit and Green Bay. I feel we need to show Graham we can get him a ring to keep him here. Because those owners will be in Graham's ear manipulating the heck out of him to leave us. You know Blank is gonna bring up Jones and Jackson and Whitherspoon and Thompson will talk about Nelson, Cobb, Rodgers, and Matthews. We have to make a statement for him.

After watching Manning and Brady, I'd say more like 4 years.

Jimmy isn't going anywhere. He's got Drew making him look real good.

Re: Jimmy Graham or help on our offensive line??

I'm sorry but neither Atlanta nor Green Bay has anything equal to what we offer.
Atl: Ryan is overrated, White is injury prone, Jones is good, Jackson is on life support and their defense is horrendous.

GB: Rogers is phenomenal, Lacy is a beast, Nelson is good, their defense is horrible and its cold in GB.

US: Brees is phenomenal, Colston again, Stills on rise, Robinson/Ingram ascending, our defense is rapidly improving while getting younger.

Plus, he plays 10 games in either a dome or warm weather, 11 depending on Carolina when we play. Plus you know Sean Payton knows how to use him and put him in relevant positions.

Some of this is Payton's fault. I understand the desire to split Graham out wide or flex him into the slot, but we do it much too often. He's becoming a tight end in name only.
