Did anyone notice?
Manning is set to pass Brees record from 2011. He's at 5,211 right now.

Re: Did anyone notice?
He deserves it the way he's been playing.
I'm not a Manning fan but it is what it is and he is very consistent this year. Denver v. N.E. will be a good game when it happens. Alaska |
Re: Did anyone notice?
Yup. Freaking sucks. He'll also probably break consecutive games with a TD next year.
Drew also needs to throw for more than 220 yards on Sunday or his consecutive seasons over 5000 yards passing streak will end. |
Re: Did anyone notice?
Records are kept to be broken. No one can say anything negative about the season Manning is having. He is a champion and is playing like on this year.. I wish him all the luck in the AFC.,. We will see him in NY.... Saints vs Broncos .....Christmas wish!!!!!

Re: Did anyone notice?
I didn't notice. I knew.
That Peyton Manning is some QB, period. HOF no doubt. An overall superb career despite changing teams and outliving his offensive lines. Mind you he did have Saturday. But frankly Manning could and did deliver whatever the day of the week. Brees would benefit from one aspect of Manning's play and that is the hurry up offense. Quote:
Geaux Drew Christophaux Brees! |
Re: Did anyone notice?
Manning laughed off the TD record yesterday in his interview and said all the previous records will be broken in the next few years the way recievers are protected now.
He said Brady would probably break the record he just broke next year anyway. But then to his credit, he mentioned Marino and his records showing he knows how impressive that was back when receivers were fair game. |
