Saints add S Frederick, place Vaccaro on IR
 

METAIRIE, La. (AP) -- The Saints signed safety Terrence Frederick off of Cleveland's practice squad Wednesday.

The Saints also placed safety Kenny Vaccaro on injured reserve, officially ending his season. Vaccaro broke his left ankle Sunday in New Orleans's 17-13 loss at Carolina.

The 23-year-old Frederick is a second-year pro out of Texas A&M. He played in two games with the New York Giants in 2012 and was credited with two tackles.

Amen at least it's the Bucs for the first game hopefully Glennon will be pressured so he can't pick on the secondary. The playoffs will be a different story however.

Talking of injuries, anybody heard how Drew's knee problem in going! Hope he will be ok for the Bucs game?

I think he will prob see special teams while Bush plays a bigger role with the starters.

special team baby.

a bit small for a CB, not a great man coverage. much better in zone cover solid speed

but he was known for great run support, attacking run plays and being a solid open field tackler. thats special teams written all over it
