Knee limits Drew Brees in practice
1 Attachment(s)
The Saints need a win against the Buccaneers this weekend to nail down a playoff spot and possibly a division title, so it’s not exactly an ideal Christmas present to find out that quarterback Drew Brees was limited in practice with a knee injury.
Brees didn’t mention anything about his knee while talking to reporters after last week’s loss to the Panthers and Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports that neither he nor Sean Payton mentioned anything about the knee when they met the media after practice on Wednesday. The injury report was the first mention of anything to do with Brees’ knee. Brees participated in the portion of practice open to the media and, as mentioned, there’s no suggestion that the injury is significant enough to force him to miss a game that the Saints need to win. It’s the first time he’s appeared on the injury list this season for any reason. The Saints also officially ended safety Kenny Vaccaro’s season on Wednesday, placing him on injured reserve because of a broken ankle. Cornerback Terrence Frederick has been signed off of the Browns practice squad. Knee limits Drew Brees in practice | ProFootballTalk |

Remember when we thought he might have been hurt earlier in the season against the jets? I wonder if its true and he really did disguise another injury.

Re: Knee limits Drew Brees in practice
I truly believe this is absolutely nothing, and Wednesday was just a partial maintenance day.
He was full Thur and Friday Look at the positive- we could benefit from him being a little antsy in the pocket and getting rid of the ball quicker |
