I'm dreaming, but Atlanta beats the Panthers at home and we take the #2 seed

New Orleans beats Tampa
Atlanta beats Carolina

We win the 2 seed, San Fran or Carolina knocks off Seattle in round 2, bringing the NFCCG to New Orleans, where we win.

We won't play a road game in the playoffs. :p

I'm optimistic, but a problem is our offensive system. The line checks and play changes are a problem on the road for our offense.

I like the way you think. But I'd be happy with the #5 seed.

Wha-wha-what???

You do know this is one of the league's top offenses over the last six seasons, right?

I think we can chalk it up to a few key players not making plays this year but the system is still the envy of the majority of this league.

The teams we would have beat on the road in Oct. look a lot tougher January. Philly, Chicago, Green Bay. Yikes!

I'd rather go to Seattle.

no, we really dont have what it takes this year. Ill still believe they win every game, but realistically no. We would be creamed by NE in the SB anyway.

What happens if we lose today?

I doubt it.

Of all of the potential teams we could face in the Super Bowl, I would rather the Saints face the Pats than the any of the other AFC teams.

If not for a last second TD, (and a no-call by the refs), the Saints would have won that game.

We could still get the 6 seed with an Arizona loss.

But if we can't beat the Bucs in our own house with playoffs on the line, what do you think will happen in the playoffs on the road?

Today is basically the 1st round of the playoffs. The loser won't get to sleep with Tiffany this year.

Dont get me wrong, I think we did perfectly amazing this year, but we dont have the touphness this year to win a cold away game. IF fans actually listen to SP, he didnt even think we would be able to compete in the playoffs this year at the beginning of the season.
Especially against a touph, disaplined outdoor team like Pats or even KC. Our D always plays worse away ( usual ), and now for the 1st time our O is struggling away.
I want Pats to, always wanted to play them in the playoffs. Then Brees would be the only QB to beat Manning and Brady, and we did get cheated out of that win, but it was warm out.
Our best chance would be Broncos or colts. PM doesnt play well in weather either, and colts are a dome team to. I dont believe either of those teams have a good chance to win a SB in NY on freezing turf. But yeah man ID LOVE to see Pats vs Saints SB....next year.
But I am torn, like most saints fans we never want to play the easy teams.

I think we get the number 2 seed and homefield along with a bye.

Yep, that's the spirit. There's a team in Atlanta that drafts fans like you.

And what exactly have we done on the road this season makes you think we wouldn't get creamed in Ny outdoors in February in one of the windeyest stadium in the NFL?

Because it's not a road game.

It is a road game. Just not to the opposing teams stadium you mean. Doesnt matter. We need to be touph enouph to play in wind, cold, away turf, and we dont have a good history of that. Especially the way our O is playing, and little run game.

I did notice something different about the bucs game..................

Brees was spreading the ball around.

I voted no...that should do it. Sometimes you have to take one for the team. If I really wanted to assure a win, I would go put money on the Eagles to win outright!

You're calling someone else stupid and you've spelled tough with a P twice in this thread?

Do you know what the word irony means?

Just my opinion, I'd rather read WHODATINCA's posts over your constant whining all day long and twice on Sundays.

Wasnt interesed in your option at all. As for my education level, pretty sure I trump yours. Only a D calls ppl falcon fans, and I ignored him a few times. He never got the hint. Fans like that need to find a spot on saintreport.
fans should post their opinion, not ra ra chearleader drivel. Im sure you'll both be very happy together...probably holding hands and reading grammer books under a tree somewhere.
I say whatever I want on the 32 forums I post on. You dont like, ignore, or dont counter. You attack like a D, your open season.

If you cant hang, you can both post here
