Road to Sb goes through Philly
Leave it to Dallas for a 3rd straight year of 8-8 and no playoffs because of a loss in week 17. I'm having nightmares about LeSean Mccoy, the hurry up offense of Chip Kelley will put the Saints D on their toes. But in the end I still think we win this one. Thoughts?

Re: Road to Sb goes through Philly
They'll have a tough time stopping us/keeping us off the field. Dallas' D played well enough to win, I think our D is better, We stop/slow McCoy, I think we'll be in good shape. Obviously, I would have rather played in Dallas, but I think Philly may be better place to play than Green Bay. Not sure I'd like to face Rodgers and Cobb at Lambeau.

Fine with me. I don't care where we play. We are in.

Big easy meets the Big Sleazy

Re: Road to Sb goes through Philly
Likewise, we are in and fully capable of beating anyone. Payton has this team fired up.

Re: Road to Sb goes through Philly
Alot depends on the weather. Right now it's going to be about 25 degrees on Saturday. No precipitation.

Actually we will play the Seaweeds if we knock off Philly. |
Re: Road to Sb goes through Philly
I like our D against their O. Foles struggled tonight a lot with pressure in his face. If you get a four-man pass rush going you can rattle him for sure. McCoy may be a great running back but he has some tendencies we can get after. He takes that same fake cutback step and bounces it to the outside about 10 times a game. If you keep somebody out on the edge watching for that you take away a lot of his big play ability.
But I'm not worried about the defense. We know what they're capable of on the road in tough conditions. They'll be fine. We need the offense to get their act together and fast. |
Re: Road to Sb goes through Philly
Stop the run. Take first read away. Oline block.
Oh yeah. And the sky is blue. |
Re: Road to Sb goes through Philly
Why do you keep saying that? If we knock off Philly -- we go to Seattle.

I wouldnt be suprised if GB got up and the panthers roll em the week after for a ticket to the NFC title game. Either way, we end up at Seattle next week, assuming we win. Win there and we go all the way, imo, As we have been saying all year, it comes down to winning in Seattle, if we are to go all the way. I like the thought of revenge on the road in both Seattle and Carolina. And playing, for example, Denver in NY means two teams who don't like the cold too much. Good times. That's how i'd like to see it play out, anyway. |
Re: Road to Sb goes through Philly
we can beat Philly at home, its the rest that wories me.

I think we can win. IF WE RUN THE BALL.

Re: Road to Sb goes through Philly
Why? Dallas almost won with a backup QB and 60 yds rushing
