this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I just copied and pasted the picks from FirstPick. It rates and scorea every draft Fair to say I do not agree with them...

Re: Mock Draft Simulator
Don't like Cooks (Height) or or Hurst (Injuries); but that's not a bad haul...

Re: Mock Draft Simulator
I think the only time Hurst has been injured was this year's Bowl game where he broke his leg. Other than that, he was considered a first round draft pick (according to some mock draft sites I've read analysis of). BUt now we've re-signed Strief, so I think I'll redraft and go with another position

Re: Mock Draft Simulator
It's hard to tell with his limited play due to Alabama being run first but Norwood could be a steal late on, same with Devin Street. Only speed is a concern but not that slow.Add on another 15lbs on lean muscle to his frame and allow Colston to tutor him for a year or so and he could be a great steal too

Good call on Bama's Norwood; but if Moncrief isn't there, I'd like to see the Saints sit pact until the fourth, fifth round and grab Norwood... The only knock on Norwood was his production and, as you posted, Ground and Pound was Saban's game... |
