Might as well stay home...

No big deal. Road team. Shaky weather and loaded fans. Any team would be an underdog.

Re: Might as well stay home...

Is anyone accounting for this being Foles first playoff game? That's a big deal...

Eric Davis on NFL-AM said that's the reason the Saints will win... Said we have a lot more playoff experience

We get a lead on Philly and their fans will turn on them.

We suck on the road..after we win they will prob favor us going into Seattle. I simply can't listen to the talking heads anymore. Most of em are smokin crack imo

Re: Might as well stay home...

Here's a stat for you, the Saints have won 4 of our last 6 playoff games...

or how about Drew's stats in playoff games:

He has completed 231 of 349 passes for 2,661 yards and 20 touchdowns, with three interceptions, in eight playoff games as a Saint. Overall, he’s at 262 of 391 for 2,980 yards and 22 touchdowns, with four interceptions.

Just sayin'; Drew is on a whole nother level of bad-ass when it comes playoff time.

Recent playoff losses have come down to break-downs in the defense and well it seems we have a better one this year.

Doesn't bode well for the 32nd pass defense... :bng:

Hoping we prove the talking heads wrong.. I'd hate for our season to end this soon.

I hope we win. I'm starting to believe my superstitions are why we are losing games.

Re: Might as well stay home...

i like it when the 'aints are underdogs and so do the coaches and players, according to mr. strief.

this is right where we wanna be. no one expects to win on the road in the playoffs. no one will see it coming when we upset (according to vegas) the eaGIRLS saturday and shock the seahawks next week.

i think people will take us a little bit more lightly when we are on the road then they will at home. they fear us at home, so, they'll be more up for a game in the dome and better prepared, on the road, they wont know what hit 'em.

dont get me wrong. im not saying these teams arent preparing for us. im just saying, they might not be mentally prepared. they might think they already have us cause we cant win on the road. their over-confidence will cost them. classic tourtouise vs. hare

you'll see.

Re: Might as well stay home...

That's why you play the game as long as the Saints run the ball and don't turn the ball over we should be alright.

Re: Might as well stay home...

The Saints are the best team. They were the best team versus the Jets and Rams on the road as well. Gotta line up and prove it. In Philly, cold weather, against the best RB in the NFL, against a QB that doesn't turn the ball over, 0-5 all-time in road playoff games, it's not going to be easy. WHO DAT!

This being Fole's first ever playoff game, you never know what may happen. He may break under the pressure...

He turned the ball over vs Dallas and we dnt need turnovers i'll take missed passes/dropped balls if we can't get a int. Three and outs are just as good as a into both kill momentum.
