Fan Status for Tomorrow's Big Game in Philly
 

I've been drunk since the Rams game.... I've changed from Rolling Rock to Dos Equis Dark and I'm sleeping in my Sproles jersey not the Colston jersey as usual. I am going to be exhausted, though, because I can't sleep tonight.

Tomorrow is a must win for me -- because I'm definitely not prepared for the end of the season.

Still on vacation in Miami. I have the whole day planned around the game tonight....been waiting all week! There likely will be excessive amounts of alcohol involved. Forgot to pack my Moore jersey though.....

Participated fully in practice this week.... Debuted my Cameron Jordan against the bucs.... I am gonna keep that going this week win or lose. I want that return trip to Seattle, I'm convinced that we would do better against the hawks in a rematch....

Got the Saints Flag out in front of my house, changing my routine a la SP, will make a French Leek soup instead of Gumbo, saute some shrimp, seer some tuna and maybe even whip up a batch of charbroiled oysters. A little gluttony might just be what the doctor ordered for this game.

started phys therapy this week after surgery before x-mas, so I have doubled up my oxy intake
I do not consider operating a remote control to be heavy machinery, so I am good there, but I am going to ignore the other warning on the bottle

Vegetarian today with wearing the normal hoodie and pajama pants. If we get behind by more than 10 points at any time, I'll shave, take a quick shower, go to the #26 jersey with different pajama pants, and eat whatever meat is in the fridge. Oh, and rum. Much, much rum.

The best Saint bar outside of New Orleans is in San Francisco - Black Majik Voodoo Lounge - NOLA Music, NOLA Food, Packed with NOLA fans - but I have an 0-4 record there this year - so I am going to a closer general sports bar to watch. I will miss it - but sometimes ya gotta take one for the team.

I'm a nervous wreck! I'm heading to a party that is a "safe win" playoff location for mojo.
My apartment is hexed with voodoo.... I've seen ALL our loses here and the mojo screwed!

All good luck charms and obscure rituals in play including:

• Sat reverse on the toilet for #2 potty breaks (this actually allows you to surf the net on your phone or tablet on top the fill tank while taking care of business)
• Ate a hot pastrami and swiss po'boy WHILE STANDING
• Made a gumbo that I cannot eat until after the game
• Black and Gold undershirt
• Black boxers

These are the good rituals for standard playoff games.
If I break out the "Superbowl" run rituals, I will have run out the mojo in case we win. Things must start here.

No matter how much I joke about it and brush it off, I'm a voodoo wreck!!!
