Saints sign veteran safety Jordan Pugh
The Saints have signed a veteran defensive back to help them through the playoff run.
Safety Jordan Pugh sent out a Tweet saying he signed with the Black and Gold. "It's official I'm a saint!!" he wrote. "#whodat nation lets get it!!!!" He is a 4th year player. The Redskins let him go early in this season after just one tackle and one interception. Last year with Washington he had 13 tackles and one sack. In 2011 he had 18 tackles, forced a fumble with the Panthers and filled in as a kick returner, averaging 25.5 yards per return. He averaged 24 yards per return in 2010 with Carolina. He also logged one interception that season and 9 tackles.
