Injuries, it's not that bad
Colts, Pats, Panthers, all their IR rosters are heavy, much more than ours. Even the copapleahawks have their fair share. It ain't that bad. The only bad part is we lost some good players late. I think we'll be alright. We may get exposed some but if the offense gets hot it should be enough to keep it tight.

Kenny Vaccaro stands out for me and PT as well.

All perspective.
Absolutely I am disappointed at our injuries (even if relatively there may be other teams with similar or worse numbers of injuries). |
Re: Injuries, it's not that bad
We're healthier than 2010

We've been dropping like flies since training camp opened.

Re: Injuries, it's not that bad
I think it's the quality of the injuries rather than the quantity. We have been hit really hard in the secondary, with respect to some of our best defensive players. Losing Vaccaro really sucked. And of course Jabari Greer. If Lewis doesn't play this weekend I'm going to be nervous.

Re: Injuries, it's not that bad
We have just injuries mounting up in the same positions. At that one outside linebacker spot we lost Victor Butler, then Will Smith, then Haralson. At corner we lose Robinson, then Greer, then a guy who can cover like a corner in Vaccaro. This team has really good depth, IMO top to bottom the most depth and talent we have had in the Payton era. But you can't account for losing 3-4 guys who play the same position all in the same season. We're not just playing replacement guys, we are playing guys who are the replacements for the original replacements. Rough place to be.
