Wow. Quddus??? Did not see that one coming.

I think this means we can probably count on Lewis playing though. Without him we would probably have to move Jenkins down to corner so we would need Quddus as the 3rd safety. If Lewis plays, you don't need another safety so much because you still have Jenkins/Harper/Bush.

Johnson takes Haralson's spot I assume? Interesting. They must not be all that high on Dawson.

Surprised Quddus was waived.

And Rufus Johnson? How is he coming along with his development? Haven't heard anything about the guy since we drafted him.

Seeing how he was brought up to the active squad from the practice squad, I'd say he's coming along nicely... Bet he sees some snaps this week

Quddus went from flashing starter like ability to not even being good enough to be a special teamer. Funny how things can change so quickly.

Shocked by Quddus especially since we lost Vaccaro. Yikes!

You know how much Payton wants to win this game. He must like Johnson a lot.

Rufus is large.6'5" 272. Didn't know he was that big.

A-Q has been beaten out by Bush, so it's not a huge loss.

The Saints might want to look at another rookie safety early in the draft, since both Jenkins and Harper might be gone after the season.

Great measurables, but he was as raw as can be.

He'll probably see special teams duty. If we see him playing OLB or DE, something bad has happened.

Wow! To be on roster for the full season and released in a divisional playoff, then other db's coming off the street having more snaps on defense than he had all season; the writing was on the wall, produce or hit the door with martez wilson

Keenan Lewis practiced today, so his concussion couldn't have been that bad.

Maybe more speed to rush or get after Russell.. Russell would get out the pocket and run for the first because our lbs/dls can't keep up with him. And Quddus has been injured quite a while if I remember correctly.

As I've learned since we cut Hartley trust Sean .

Quddus has been inactive, even with the Vaccaro injury, so I guess we are just done with him. Surprising, but, as deuce said, the kicker change has worked, as has LT, so...

it will be interesting to see someone that big on ST

I wish I didn't have to see Will Herring.

Hate to see Quaddus go but someone will pick up a good safety when he heals up. Can't wait to see Johnson, a fast , big lb., with a huge wing span, I hope he dominates.

I would rather see Reddick at ILB and move Hawthorne to OLB... just my opinion. I think Rufus can play tho. Just don't really like Herring at all.

I like that too. Hawthorne played inside and outside while in Seattle.

Reddick or Humber inside is fine with me.

Hawthorne has played outside some when we are in our 3-3-5

Will Herring is such a liability in everything he does, he saw a reduced role as the season unfolded which makes me happy, but now this scares me
