QUESTION ON THE USE OF SAINTS NATION

Not to take attention away from the upcoming battle with the Seahawks
but wondering about the use of the word Nation. A lot of threads use Saints Nation and Who Dat Nation.
I thought we were just Who Dats.
Just asking..

The Raider Nation is the official name for the fans of the NFL's Oakland Raiders. They are usually associated with a section of the Oakland Coliseum known as the Black Hole (sections 104–107), which is mostly occupied by rowdy fans. The origin of the name is obscure; it was popular during the early 1980s, when Raider fans from the San Francisco Bay Area were forced to travel to Los Angeles or elsewhere to watch their team. Re: QUESTION ON THE USE OF SAINTS NATION

I think it was Bobby Hebert that coined the term Who Dat Nation.

Yea i wish we was a lil more clever than that. Bobby stayed in Atlanta too long they are known for stealing other towns culture, sayings, slogans and moto's away and then trying to justify it.
