Is this the worst team in football?
 

I cant help but wonder if it isnt. They have lost to two previosly winless teams. They cant stop anybody on defense, they cant pass block. Everything they get comes so hard. They make stupid mistakes week after week. I look around the league and dont see any other making these types of mistakes every week. I know there are teams that have less talent, but is there a team that gets less from their talent than the saints do? If there is someone please let me know where they are.

A team with or without talent is a reflection of their coaches. These are lame duck coaches and they know it, the team is taking on that personality.

were for suire bottom 5. no doubt there. i said a couple of weeks ago i thought this was the worst team haslett has fielded. n they r. if as a coach u get worse in ur 5th year then u were the previous 4 years then u shopuld be gone. especially concidering we were suppose to be a good team. he isnt progressing at all. we suck.

I can see is that they haven\'t let LT run all over them. Other than that, it\'s just
been a pitiful showing, embarassing really. I can\'t even muster up the energy to
be angry. I just want it to be over.

If that is the case then I think it says a lot about the players. A bunch of heartless players. You can say what you want about a lame duck coach, but these guys havent shown up all year.

Hey - we know have a chance to boost our offensive stats. We are good at that - late in the game.

We need 82 yards passing to get Brooks to 200; and 27 yards rushing to get a total 100 yards rushing!

yes they have. Im not a huge brooks fan, but they have just completely left him hanging. A guy is kicking dirt in his face after a sack and only one guy comes to his defense. That is a shame.

well I can\'t watch the game because of where i am at, but from what I read these guys are awful. I believe that it is time for a change. this is embarassing

the total blame cannot be all the coaches to bear...the gm..the assistants..the players...even the fans..to some degree...it seems like...every year...we get a little boost near the end..\'\'playing for pride\'\'...well..we need that attitude all year round..we\'re not contenders..and we should not approach a season with the delusion we will be...pride...thats what is at stake...not the playoffs...not now..

Yes. The WORST team. No unity. No effort. No ability to perform at any level. and worst of all, no want to even do so.

Thats the bad thing. We should atleast be playing for pride and they showed none today. They seem content to just get run over for the rest of the season. That was without a doubt the worst effort I have seen from this team in the 25 years I have been a fan and watching them. No Pride, No Heart = No More Wins

I\'m tired of the excuses. We knew we had a bad defense all summer and did nothing (expect draft Will Smith, but one rookie isn\'t gonna fix this defense). We knew we had a bad defense before the trading deadline and did nothing.
The defense ain\'t gonna get any better. We need to adopt a Florida State philosophy, if we\'re gonna give up 21 - 35 points a game, then we need to score 28-40 points per game. Of course, that would be easier we Brooks didn\'t fumble so much, and if the line actually game him more than 5 seconds to throw the ball.

My only comfort this year has been that Carolina has been embarassing themselves worse us. :D I was gettin\' sick of pundits saying we should have kept Jake and dumped Brooks.

At least Carolina can say they had some injuries. What is our excuse? What can we say went wrong? There is no one person to blame this is the entire organization doing bad things this season. It is pitifull that we are subjected to this type of football.
