I don't understand why he is SO fast to abandon the run.

The drive in the fourth quarter, around the 7-minute mark: we had the delay of game then, I THINK, all passes. Why not get a chunk of yardage back with the run???? It's not like they stopped the run all day. At worst, you make 3rd or 4th down more manageable/unpredictable.
