Brees on the other hand, lost the game for us. Reality is reality. You can call him god and pat him on the back for the last few years and 2009, desurved, but when someone messes up they also need to be accountable, and Brees has been a big liability this year on the road, and lost todays game to.

On don't think Drew lost the game. I think we have to give a TON of credit to the Seattle defense. They play physical - maybe even borderline against the rules physical, but that's one amazingly good defense. Period.

And our WRs and our Star TE need to learn how to match that physicality at the line of scrimmage. As much as it pains me, Jimmy is not the TE that Tony Gonzales is. He needs to learn a lot more about the finer points of football, IE how to deal with teams that rub him at the line...how to screen himself between the ball and the defender, and how to come back to the ball rather than just stand there and wait for it while the DB closes.

I'm not ragging on Jimmy specifically. All our WRs need to see and understand that NE exposed that weakness and other teams followed suit. It is correctable.

It's all good. We will be very good again next year. I'm already excited about the possibilities.
