B&G Superbowl Matchup
And why? Here are my answers:
NFC: Seattle. Why? Please see the 1980's. AFC: Broncos. Why? Manning needs more commercials. |
Re: B&G Superbowl Matchup
Us going to the Super Bowl depends on if Percy Plays.

Re: B&G Superbowl Matchup
San Fran vs. Denver is the matchup for more $$$ for commercials and ratings. No one outside Seattle cares about the Seahawks. If Manning gets in the commercials will just be ridiculous.

I see Peyton winning the SB and retiring kinda like ray Lewis did.

Re: B&G Superbowl Matchup
I think Tom Brady is going to destroy the Denver defense, and I think San Francisco might just manage to score enough Field Goals to beat Seattle, and that might be all they need.
I see, however, that I am in the minority. Ima be laughin come next Monday. |

The Niners secondary is average at best, but their linebackers (Brooks, Willis, Bowman, Whitner) are fantastic but when the Hawks are running the ball they have to play that first and with Harvin and Tate on each side of the field, that opens all kinds of opportunities in the passing game. The Niners are effective when they crowd the line but when you force them to play in space, there are yards to be had. |

I wish we still were in it.

Re: B&G Superbowl Matchup
Without the specter of a heart attack and numerous anxiety disorders looming over the next few weeks, I find myself suddenly looking forward to this weekend.
The two other teams I kinda like are Denver and Seattle, so that scenario is win/win. I also wont mind if the Pats gets up, just so I can yell rude abuse at internet Hawks bandwagon fans about their trophy cupboard. But more than anything, as long as the whiners lose, I am a happy. Go Saints in 2014. I feel a big year is on its way. |

I read an interesting post in a Broncos message room about the AFC having dynamic offense, the NFC having great D with largely dysfunctional offensive teams, and with only the Saints in possession of a potentially game changing O. Sounds about right (lol) |
