Loss feels worse in London
Had to leave the country on the heels of that sickening loss. The distance doesn't help. Still mortally wounded.
May have to come back home. |
Re: Loss feels worse in London
Order some bangers and mash then wash it down with a few britneys. Problem solved form about an hour.

Re: Loss feels worse in London
Hello old bean.
So you dont get confused over here. Beer is warm (apparently) Crisps are sold in bags in various flavours(find yourself some Brannigans beef and mustard youll thank me later). Mustard isnt that creamy rubbish you have out there its a mans food and strong and hot. Chips cone wrapped in gerease paper and are fried potatoes. Dont be offended by the 'C' word as its common over here. Also if you could take Madonna back with you we would be most grateful. |

Go to a Real Ale bar.
Pick any one of the chalkboard of your choosing. Repeat. |
Re: Loss feels worse in London
You actually sought the UK for comfort? I mean no offense to anyone here -- but the food and entertainment doesn't even dream of competing with NOLA. And, let's not even start the weather discussion.
Anyway, the draft and UDFA acquisition discussions have already started here -- next season has already started. :-) |
Re: Loss feels worse in London
Just passed the Emirates and my spirits are lifting. I will concede that I have been served alcohol like a goose is fed grain.
I have been advised that Madonna is on permanent loan and that any attempt to repatriate will result in nukular retribution. Also cabs are black and there are no straight lines in the whole of the UK. |

Re: Loss feels worse in London
Leaving now to the States. There must be only 5 saints fans in the entire country, and none of you bought me an ale. Maybe next time?
