Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.

All-rookie this year, all-pro next! That might be stretching it a little, but, man am I glad we got this guy. I was briefly (like about 5-10 seconds) disappointed we didn't take jarvis jones, but by the end of the year I couldn't remember why I would've ever wanted Jones over Vaccaro. Looking forward to watching this young man come into his prime. He's gonna be really special.

All of the Saints draft picks this year became starters besides Rufus, that's a damn good draft considering the level the Saints are at.

That says alot, both of how much we were depleted in youth and talent and how good a job the personnel department did (and should have been doing) to match the effort of Coaching on the field...

Thinking of that movie Enemy at the Gates with Jude Law, the personnel department has been subpar since the 07 draft (which draft class is rated alot higher than it should be because EVERYONE in the League including their sons missed on Colston until the seventh round)...

Once Jenkins and Harper are out of the way, Vaccaro can really take off and be an elite player among all those rookies named...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

San Diego's Keenan Allen and Buffalo's Kiko Alonso should be the Rookies of the Year on Offense and Defense...

But Kenny Vaccaro is the best rookie first rounder we've had under the Payton Era...

Kiko Alonso Defensive Rookie of The Year?! Wow I guess those whopping 6 victories mean more than being part of a rebuilt defense that was ranked#5 in all of football and #2 against the pass. Sometimes the writers prove that they are absolute jokes. This is one such instance.

I'm going to have to disagree with that. They might have struggled as a unit last year, but Alonso did his part. He's a 3 down linebacker that can do everything. His numbers give credence to multiple scouts saying he was the best player on Oregon's defense last year... not Dion Jordan.

I'm glad you mentioned that - when I do my HOBBY scouting that Hagan and I enjoy discussing with the guys and gals here, Kevin and I actually discussed this in previous threads before that you also have to look at the system, the coaches, and the other guys that are on defense to really assess what's happening...

And you very wisely and quite succinctly nailed it in your statement...

Love Kenny Vaccaro's impact as I've argued for an unpoplular change in the Saints' backstop for the past several years and Vaccaro made a HUGE difference - both due to KV awesomeness and due to the overvalued players already here...

I like KV ceiling better than anyone in the draft class with maybe the exception of Ogletree; but I'll gladly say the Saints made the right pick, though would have loved it had they traded back into the round and got Ogletree, I've a renewed vigor for this team with the awesome draft class we had...

Just because we pay respect to other team's players doesn't mean we don't cheer for our guys any less on Gameday...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
