Now that he is two years older, my guess is that this one would be heavily front-loaded It was explained to me that the reason the contract was backloaded was in anticipation of the salary cap increases expected from the latest TV contract and called out for in the players CBA. The increase in salary in years 4 and 5 will be (hopefully) offset by increases in the cap.
